THEMEWEAR CRITERIA

  • Theme Wear is an Optional & (FREE Round) for all Amateur & Pro Athletes.

  • This exciting, creative category gives athletes the opportunity to:
  • Showcase personality
  • Express creativity
  • Display showmanship and confidence
  • Bring a unique, theatrical element to the stage

  • JUDGING CRITERIA
  • Athletes will be judged on:
  • Creativity of the outfit
  • Overall Theme Wear concept
  • Personality and expression
  • Stage presence
  • Use of costume and props
  • Confidence & engagement with the audience
  • Judges are looking for the competitor who brings their chosen theme to life with confidence, energy, and imagination.

  • THEME WEAR ATTIRE
  • Athletes are encouraged to be as creative, glamorous, dramatic, or bold as they like.
  • Examples of acceptable Theme Wear styles:
  • Sports-themed outfits.
  • Superhero costumes.
  • Wings / angel / fantasy-inspired looks.
  • Cultural & traditional costumes.
  • Carnival / festival styles.
  • Character-inspired costumes.
  • And more — creativity is encouraged!
  • Props may be used to enhance the presentation, provided they are safe and easy to manage on stage.

  • WALK & ROUTINE OPTIONS
  • Athletes must perform either:
  • An Individual I-Walk, OR
  • A Theme Routine (short performance piece using the full stage).
  • Music will be pre-selected by the promoter, unless otherwise communicated.
  • STAGE WALK REQUIREMENTS Enter the stage and walk to middle rear (Point 1)
  • Hold a themed pose that highlights your outfit.
  • Walk to front centre stage (Point 2)
  • Perform 3–4 poses of your choice OR present your Theme Wear routine.
  • Poses should complement your costume.
  • Routine should remain family-friendly, confident, and fun.
  • Exit the stage and line up at the designated point until all competitors have completed their walk or routine.
  • All athletes return to the stage for group comparisons and trophy presentations.

  • Important Note
  • No sexual or erotic movements will be tolerated.
